We have an Ellen sow that was put to a Gerald boar (both registered) …please could someone tell me what boar we could put a female offspring too? Boars for hire are in very short supply in our area (border West and North Yorkshire) but there is a Rufus in Settle…would he be o.k breeding wise?

A Rufus would be fine as the offspring from an Ellen/Gerald liaison makes the offspring Girls are Ellens & Boys are Geralds. That is of course unless you’re breeding Cyclically but thats a whole new ball game! So if it were me i would go for the Rufus, Good luck
