We keep our members up to date by monthly email catch ups which are full of news from the world of Gloucestershire Old Spots Pig and we are always on the lookout for anecdotes, photographs and articles from the GOS piggy empire. We are always interested in new members and their experiences in all things piggy related. We now produce Spot Press our printed newsletter once a year in Autumn.

- Funding scheme to help with distribution of our rare lines across the UK
- Organisation of the Annual GOS Champion of Champions
- Presentation of Best GOS in Show rosettes at over 20 agricultural shows.
- Advertising in selected journals promoting the breed.
- The right to use the new Protected Food Name UK (TSG) logo by breeders and retailers on GOS produce. (Application forms available from Secretary)
- Lobbies government and other bodies to limit mis-use of the GOS name on food labels, advertising etc.
The club is very proactive and is managed by an elected committee with a full constitution and yearly AGM’s which are held in a different part of the country every year to give members everywhere in the UK a chance to attend.
