BBC1’s Countryfile programme on Sunday evenings attracts a massive 6 million plus audience and in about three weeks’ time, GOS will be featured as Adam Henson, the programme’s farming presenter, is seen visiting John & Helen Lightfoot’s farm at Hartpury near Gloucester. Part of the reason for the visit is for Adam to select a new stock boar to buy but whilst there he looks at all the Pebblesford herd, one of the first to achieve TSG status and to talk about the breed and its centenary.
