On Saturday 11th June 40 pigs of assorted breeds assembled on a foggy day on a sticky muddy field just outside Huddersfield. Pig Secretary John Wreakes had Tom Auty judging and Marlene Renshaw commentating on proceedings.

Supreme Champion was Hampshire pig Mildred from Messrs Fairclough & Roberts

The Fowgill herd was out representing the GOS breed with Fowgill Rufus 156 taking 1st prize in the Coloured January boar class and Burfords Dolly 84 taking 2nd place in the coloured January gilt class to a Mulkeen Saddleback. Brian Merry had best white pig with his Middle White Sow. Alyssia Horsley was young handler of the day and a Berkshire pig from Sarah Ashcroft was deemed prettiest pig in show!
