A lovely warm Saturday greeted the show, in contrast to two wet days before the show which made loading and unloading slippery for vehicles.

The supreme champion was a Saddleback gilt, shown by GOS club member Clare Wilson, but Oldpots were shown by club member Maria Naylor, who got a 2nd and 14 year old Alfie Dallaway, son of member Mark Dallaway. Alfie does all his own preparation, including kit, so apart from ironing his show coat and transport, it is all his own work. He picked up 2nd for his breeding sow and best young handler is a large class of keen participants, so should be rightly proud of his efforts.
