The new Stoneleigh Country fair is the setting for a large gathering of over 200 pigs, including GOS, taking over from the now defunct Hatfield Show.
The inaugural event saw Kilcot pigs’ boar Pebblesford Sambo 411 winning the GOS cup, following on from earlier wins this year including the champion of Champions at the Three Counties Show (see Club showing Competitions for more ).
The reserve champion Foston Star is also owned by Kilcot Pigs, so it was a double !
To add to this Pebblesford Sambo 411 went on to be reserve traditional interbreed champion.
So a great weekend for the Kilcot team.
