This years Cheshire show was a resounding success with thousands of visitors attending the show including on both days its President Sophie Countess of Wessex.
In the pig tent 123 pigs were on display or put through their paces in the two rings. Club Treasurer Janice Wood (Chief Steward) posted on facebook “Great time at Cheshire County Show. Thanks to all the pig exhibitors and stewards – you know who you are – for making it an enjoyable couple of days. Best ever entry of pigs this year. Lulu Landrace, daughter of Lily did extremely well, Best Modern and Reserve Interbreed. Very well done to the Mulkeen family with their lovely Saddleback sow, it was a worthy Supreme Champion”
